Holy Land Bazaar introduces the beautiful woven cloth backpacks and handbags from the Anter workshop in the Druze village of Dalyat El Carmel, in northern Israel. Anter is a family business founded in 1970 that produces unique, woven bags and other textiles.
The colorful cotton blend cloth is woven on site in the workshop. The designs, colors and patterns are inspired by the Druze folklore and culture.
This orange and multi-colored bag is from Anter's Liz series and is really two purses in one. The bag can be folded over to become an even smaller purse and you have the option to tuck in the shoulder strap to also use it as a clutch purse.
This is a durable, cotton blend, woven bag that is washable. The purse is fully lined, with two convenient zippered pockets that close with gold colored pendants and one total length pouch pocket.
You will just love it and find plenty of times when a small, lightweight purse is just what you need.
